Administration & Production

Employees in the production and administrative divisions of our company are paid on an hourly basis and are eligible to receive raises annually. Additionally, these employees may receive raises upon completion of their 5-year anniversary. Salaries vary. Please contact our Human Resources department for further information. (813) 882-8886.

Sales Department

Employees joining our sales force receive a training salary of $500.00 per week for the first 13 weeks of employment. This period may be extended on a discretionary basis.

New Bonus Incentive Plan:
Sales employees will receive an additional $100.00 if personal weekly sales meet and/or exceed quota.

We are very excited to offer this incentive to our employees. Our entire sales force now has the opportunity to earn an additional $400.00 to $500.00 per month based on their personal performance.

This bonus program is on a trial basis - if successful, the program may be extended indefinitely.

Pay Plan:
The modifications outlined in the pay plan were designed to provide fair wages for all employees. Our pay plan meets with Government guidelines and is in compliance with the requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor. This compensation plan was designed to produce quota and performance driven account executives.

Our philosophy at In The News, Inc. has always been to provide not only fair wages to all employees, but also provide exceptional bonus and commission earnings potential to our dedicated sales professionals. In keeping with this tradition, we have provided an "Incentive Laden" pay program to maintain employee excitement.

*3:30 pm Early Day*
Applies to commissioned sales representatives. Qualifying sales representatives can leave at 3:30 p.m., on a pre-specified weekday. Certain conditions are applicable

1-Million Dollar Sales Club:
Employees reaching (1) million dollars in paid sales are eligible to become One-Million Dollar Sales Club Members. Club members receive an additional $100.00 per week bonus.

TRAINING SALARY--BONUS AND COMMISSION POLICY

PAY PERIOD
$ Employees are compensated on a weekly basis.
$ The pay period consists of work/hours completed Sunday through Saturday of the prior workweek.
$ Payroll wages are submitted via direct deposit by or on Friday. Checks or Check-Stubs are distributed prior to the lunch hour on Friday.

EARNINGS
A salary of $500.00 per week is paid throughout the training period. The training period is generally the first 13 weeks of employment. Commission and bonus are not applicable to employees in training with the exception of the new personal quota bonus.

Our multifaceted bonus and commission plan provides unlimited earnings potential. Our commissioned sales representatives typically earn between thirty and seventy thousand dollars annually.

BENEFITS

Upon completion of their training period, full-time employees are eligible for the benefits offered by In The News, Inc. These benefits include medical and dental plans that may be extended to include an employee's spouse and dependent children. Employees are encouraged to participate in the company 401K plan upon completion of eligibility requirements.

MEDICAL BENEFITS
Medical Insurance is available through United Health Care for full time employees and may be extended to include their spouse and dependent children. Coverage provided is comprehensive outpatient and hospitalization - within a local Preferred Provider Network. Covered expenses are payable under the plan at a reduced percent when incurred outside the PPO network.

Pretax payroll deductions of $40.00 are secured weekly for individual insurance coverage. Employees are responsible for the complete cost of dependent coverage under the insurance plan:

Medical (Weekly) Employee = $40.00
Employee + Spouse = $105.00
Employee + Child/Children = $102.00
Family = $148.00

PLAN HIGHLIGHTS
PPO Network

* No deductibles
* $15.00 Co-pay, no claim forms
* Rx Card, No deductible, $10.00, $30.00, or $50.00 for prescription
* Maximum out-of-pocket $1,500 for employee and $3,000 for family annually, 100% thereafter.

Non-PPO Network

* 500.00 annual deductible
* Insurance pays 70%, Employee pays 30%
* Maximum out-of-pocket $3,000 per employee and $6,000 per family annually, 100% thereafter.

DENTAL BENEFITS
ITN enables employees and their dependents to enroll in a prepaid dental plan administered by the American Dental Insurance Company.

TERM LIFE INSURANCE

For employees participating in the Company's health insurance program, coverage includes a $15,000 term life insurance policy. For employees waiving participation in the health insurance plan the $15,000 term life is available for a small charge.

SHORT TERM DISABILITY

The Company provides employees the opportunity to purchase voluntary short-term disability and/or other insurance policies through the Colonial Life section 125-cafeteria plan. Payments are deducted from employee payroll on a pretax basis for some types of insurance.

401-K PLAN

To participate in the Company 401K plan, an employee must be 21 years of age. Eligibility will commence the beginning of the first quarter subsequent to the completion of 1 year of service. In this plan the Company will match .50¢ for every $1.00 up to 4% of salary. Pretax savings and investment options are additional features of the plan.

The 401k plan is managed and administered by The Principal Financial Group

Vacation

After completion of 90 days  *1 Week Paid Leave

After completion of 5 years   *3 Weeks Paid Leave
After completion of 10 years *4 Weeks Paid Leave
(Quota's will be prorated for sales representatives taking approved vacation days).

Sick Days

3 Earned Day After 90 days
3 Earned Days Annually After 1st Year Anniversary

Unused sick time may be carried over to the next year-maximum carry-over is 25 days. (Quota's will be prorated for sales representatives taking approved sick days).

Holidays

In The News, Inc. has designated a minimum of 7 days during the year for paid Holidays. Depending on when the holiday occurs during the week, additional days may be added. The following Holidays are observed:

Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day.

Employees must have completed training to be eligible.
