Kenneth Garard

The Basics...

Hey everyone, I'm Kenneth but I like to go by Kenny. I was born and raised in Tampa so I was very excited to get a good job right in town. In the years leading up to 2014 when I landed the job at In The News, Inc. I worked as a restaurant manager. So this is a bit different than what I had previously been used to but I was able to get acclamaited pretty quickly because I was used to speaking to tons of different people everyday. At In The News, Inc. I find that I gravitate towards working with people in the restaurant business because that's still what I know the best but I also like to find work involving churches. Other than that I'm all over the place with my clients. Quickly after starting here Irealized the CEO's of companies are easiest to work with because they never need any authority first and usually know exactly what they want.

Why do you love In The News, Inc.?

"These days, news is always so negative. Tragedy, murder, disaster, etc. In The News, Inc. has found a great way to forget about all the horrible news coverage that is typical and really shine a light on the people who are standing out in the world for all the right reasons. In The News, Inc. highlights the positive and ignores the negative. It is something that the world needs more."

A little more about me...

I am a huge basketball fan. I played throughout my youth and until graduating high school. I became a Dad in 2004 and began playing ball with my son at the park as soon as he was able to. He is now playing for one of the travel AAU teams in Tampa and shines on and off the court. He excels in school, earning the HIGHEST FCAT score at his elementary school. Needless to say, I am a very proud father.
