JoAnn Snider

The Basics...

Hi, I'm JoAnn! I'm from Cardington, Ohio and went to Ohio State University to study. I started my work here at In The News, Inc. in 1992 after holding a number of other jobs and even running my own business for a short time. Mainly, majority of my work stays within the business world among attorneys, judges, young and growing companies, and oddly enough sewage workers. The clients I work with are spread out all over the country and Canada. The ones that you may have heard of include Southwest Airlines, Akamai Technologies, Heartland Express, Ronald Book Attorney at Law, and his daughter Lauren Book, CEO and Founder of "Lauren's Kids."

Why I love In The News, Inc.?

"There are many reasons why I love this job and why I've stayed here for so long. First, my coworkers are amazing people. The comradery we share is unbelievable - we help and encourage each other daily. And the relaxed management style helps further a beautiful work environment by not adding much extra stress and demands onto us.

Now, imagine getting paid for drinking coffee, reading the nation's top newspapers, magazines, and business journals, and then speaking to the 'movers and shakers' of this country. My clients are the most fascinating people in the country!

Also, I enjoy the relationships I build with my clients. Nothing beats the feeling of turning a stranger into a close friend and recieving their undying grattitude for making their feature article a relic that will keep their memories alive forever. It is a priceless service that I am proud to be a part of."

The package arrived on Thursday, but held on to it until Sat night.  I invited a few friends and family over for a dinner party and opened it with all of them present.  There were a few gasps, let me tell you.  I was one of them!  What I haven't told you, is that I went through hell getting that paper and it was the realization of a dream I've had for almost 20 years.  Having the first issue preserved in this manner is indescribably special to me.  I've often thought back to that period in my life and wondered if it really even happened.  Some things are such distant memories, that we sometimes begin to question the accuracy of what we do remember.

It was all very real and this will stand for the rest of my life, as proof of that remarkable time.

Thanks again so very much for your help and patience.  Can't wait to pay for this!
