The Basics...

Hey, how's it going? I'm Michael. I was born in raised in Tampa, Florida and I'm happy to have found a place like In The News right in my backyard. I went to the local university, University of South Florida, where my studies focused in liberal arts. After college I held a couple jobs, finding a career as a real estate appraiser. I enjoyed that for a number of years but the stress and the hours was not worth the pay. In 2014 I was happy to have started working here at In The News. It is much more relaxing and I can get a lot of satisfaction out of what I do. I really like to speak to people in the restaurant industry or individual entreprenuers on the "up'n'up" who develop new and innovative technologies. As a man who ran a bar for a time I can relate to the guys in the restaurant industry and I really know what they want and what would help promote business. As for the inventors, it is great to learn about how our world is changing, but I really love it because of how excited these men and women get when they finally have a chance to show off their product.

Why do you love In The News, Inc.?

"We have a unique product in that we are basically selling a sense of pride and happiness. We are trying to get you to buy into yourself enough to hang it on a wall somewhere. When you buy a plaque you aren't just getting a lifelong preservation. It can serve as an inspirational picture, like the ones we see all over the place, but this is specifically tailored to your life.

Another great benefit of In The News is I know I can deliever a sound product. That means when I have someone on the fence about us I can offer them the use of our 10-day inspection period which leaves the customer with no obligation to buy. Once we build the plaque we send the finished product strait to their door for first-hand inspection. At this point, they may request a return shipping label, but I can be pretty certain they won't decline it for aesthetic reasons."

A little more about me...

I am the single father of a beautiful four year old daughter, Kendall. She is pretty much my hobby as we do everything together. We love to take trips and little adventures and experience what the world has to offer. One of our favorite things to do is kayaking!
