Let's take a stroll down memory lane. In The News Inc. has been preserving articles and creating wall displays for a quarter century. Sometimes we come across an event that is worth documenting.
Back in the early nineties we developed a contract with the NFL licensing department to sell Super Bowl wall plaques for the cover of each Super Bowl program passed out at each game.
We even traveled to Minnesota for one Super Bowl and where lucky enough our home town of Tampa hosted the big game as well. This relationship over time subsided and we let our contract run out with the NFL but not our contacts.
We where able to develop great relationships with top sports agents around the NFL. These relationships over 20 + years has given us great access to athletes who otherwise would be unapproachable.
One of our sales representatives Todd Knowlson came into work today and received an email from a previous customer he had done a display piece for back in 1991.

In 1991 we did a plaque for Carl and his son who at the time was only 2 and just happened to be in a photo with an NFL player and it made the cover of a magazine.
Since then we have done work with Carl and his agency for players like Charles Woodson, Rashard Lewis, Michael Redd, Lawyer Malloy to name a few.
In The News custom wall displays make great gifts and awards to those players featured on covers of magazines.
But Carl was calling today not because one of his clients had made news it was his son. The same son who was photographed when he was a child is now starting on the Colorado Buffaloes football team. Winning the starting job this spring (read article here)
