Going to get my haircut yesterday looking to get cleaned up for my trip to NYC this week I started the unfavorable task of finding a good place to go to get my haircut.
You might ask yourself what this has to do with newspaper frames
For me getting a haircut is like as Jim Morrison of the Doors said so poetically once, "Some of the worst mistakes of my life have been haircuts. (Brainy Quotes)
But seriously I don't have a regular Barber and I struggle through months of going without a cut mainly because of this reason. So when I remembered I used to go and get my haircut regularly when I lived in a different part of town I was ecstatic.
Carrollwood Barbar Shop in Tampa is an old school barber place where you walk in to the black and white tile floor and someone is getting a shave and guys are just sitting around trying to name the song on the radio and talking baseball. My kind of place.
Carrollwood Barber Shopis an 8-chair shop which has been providing professional and modern hair care services in the Tampa Bay Area since 1965. Ray is the owner and has made sure the place is filled with the history of barber shops and antiques to make the clientele feel as if they are in the barber shop they grew up with.
Needless to say I felt comfortable and got a great cut. As I looked at the walls covered with old memoribilla and pictures of Babe Ruth and other memorable moments in history I saw a newspaper framed article mounted and preserved. It stuck out because if was one of ours.
At In The News we create newspaper frames for places like Carrollwood Barber Shop. Local companies who get featured for their outstanding businesses.
